Open with the change you want
Explain who has the problem, what happens today and what outcome makes the project useful. One business sentence guides better than a technology list.
Add how success will be measured: time saved, requests completed, new orders or fewer errors.
Describe users and priority workflows
List the main user types and three or four essential actions. For each flow, clarify input, outcome and what happens on failure.
Separate first-release needs from later ideas. Priorities let a freelancer propose options within budget.
Make constraints and resources explicit
Include a budget range, desired date, systems to integrate, available data, legal requirements and the people approving work.
Share examples, current processes and existing design material. If something is unknown, say so: an open question is better than false certainty.
Ask for a proposal, not only a number
Request scope, milestones, exclusions, assumptions, risks and the post-launch plan. You can compare how professionals think, not only their rates.
On Freelance Fast you can begin with a normal message. The agent turns the conversation into a brief and asks for missing details before matching.
